CSSA are seeking and hoping to increase cooperation with businesses, cultural and religious establishments in the York area and in UK. We can offer to publicize other organizations among Chinese students, scholars; incorporating this into our programs to aim to increase our partner’s Chinese-student market share. We wish that our partners would sponsor our running and attend all of our many events. The participation in our events could be an influential promotion.

CSSA-York
Chinese Students & Scholars Association (CSSA) is a global student organization. In the UK, there are sixty local CSSA, divided into five major zones. CSSA in York is under the Greater Manchester Zone. As of October 2007, there are approximately 1800 registered members, most of who are from the University of York, St. John University and York College. Members also include other ethnic individuals who are generally interested in Chinese culture.
The purpose of York CSSA:
●uphold and protect Chinese students’ entitled rights;
●organize activities to entertain Chinese students;
●promote social and cultural exchange between Chinese community and other cultural and social groups.

The York CSSA is:
■The only officially recognized Chinese student organization. Under the direct guidance of Manchester Chinese Consulate; communicate and exchanges with all schools in York as well as York local governments on behalf of Chinese students.
■The only official organization to hold information on Chinese students in York. Trusted and therefore persuasive.
