| 当中国红遇见英国兰—约克中国文化周 2009 When East Meets West - Chinese Culture Week 2009 为庆祝二零零九年农历新年并促进中西文化交流，约克学联与当地多家文化机构联合策划二零零九年度约克中国文化周，与约克广大华人同胞和外国友人共贺新春！ 放眼当下，北京奥运会的成功举办向世界展示了中国的精彩，伦敦奥运会也在摩拳擦掌地热烈筹备之中，奥林匹克的话题为两国创造了多领域对话的契机，也在无形中促进中西两国在社会、文化、和经济等层面不断碰撞、相互借鉴、和融合。本届文化周将目光投向中西文化的交流与融合，“当中国红遇见英国兰”，预示着一个相互光芒的新时代！ Chinese Culture Week Event in the year of 2009 will be held between January 25th and February 1st under the theme of Mingling of East and West. Below is the general information about each activity in cultural week. 2009约克中国文化周：1月25日（周日）—2月1日（周日） 活动主题：除夕夜聚会 时间地点: 1月25日（周日）于约克大学 活动概况：正值农历除夕，漂泊在异乡的莘莘学子们和当地的华人朋友欢聚一堂，吃饺子、看央视春晚，共庆新年。 ------------------------------------------------------------ 活动主题：主题文化展“当中国红遇见英国兰” 时间地点: 1月26日-28日（周一至周三）于约克大学 1月31日-2月1日（周六至周日）于市中心Castle Museum 活动概况：本次文化展分为两部分，一部分用大量写实照片展示中国北京与上海两地的社会风貌，另一部分用文字、图片等形式展示对中英两地年轻人的访谈结果，内容包括他们如何看待文化差异，如何看待彼此。 Chinese Culture Exhibition - When East Meets West Time: 10.00am – 4.00pm, 26/01 – 28/01 (Monday-Wednesday) Location: Exhibition Centre, Electronic and Physics Building Time: 8.30am – 5.00pm, 31/01 – 01/02(Saturday-Sunday) Location: Castile Museum Details: It consists of two sections. Photographic pictures which gave an overview of Chinese history, society, economics, and arts will be exhibited in one section. In the other section, written paragraph or arts which show how young people in both countries look at cultural exchange issue will be exhibited. ------------------------------------------------------------ 活动主题：文化工作室 时间地点：1月26日（周一）于约克大学 活动概况：毛笔字、国画、剪纸、象棋和民间传统棋类游戏将在现场展示。 Chinese Workshop Time: 12.00am – 4.00pm, 26/01 (Monday) Location: Goodricke Old Dining Hall Details: Calligraphy, Chinese drawing, paper-cut and so on will be shown in the workshop. It is open to all. Please feel free to drop in at any time and ask the calligrapher to write down your Chinese name! ------------------------------------------------------------ 活动主题：新年大市集 时间地点：1月27日（周二）于约克大学 活动概况：以在英国难得一见的中国手工艺品展示中国民俗文化 Chinse New Year Market Time: 12.00am – 4.00pm, 27/01(Tuesday) Location: Goodricke Old Dining Hall Details: Interesting Chinese handicraft which is rarely seen in the UK will be shown in this market. It is quite an opportunity to get closer to the folk custom in China. ------------------------------------------------------------ 活动主题：学说中国话 时间地点：1月29日（周四）于约克大学 活动概况：教授十句最简单的中国话，用寓教于乐的形式激发参与者进一步了解中国文化的兴趣 Chinese Language Workshop Time: 7.30 – 8.30pm, 29/01/09(Thursday) Location: York University (room to be confirmed) Details: Simple but handy Chinese words will be taught in this workshop. Participator will also have an opportunity to learn how to write their name in Chinese. People who are generally interested in Chinese culture are all welcomed to come. Tickets are not required. ------------------------------------------------------------ 活动主题：中国电影之夜 时间地点：时间待定，于市中心City Screen影院 活动概况：中国电影的特别放映场次，向农历新年与中国电影艺术献礼 Chinese Film Night Time: to be confirmed Location: City Screen Details: Films including Lust Caution will be specially screened to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Details to be confirmed. ------------------------------------------------------------ 活动主题：约克华人2009年度春节晚会 时间地点: 1月30日（周五），于市中心Grand Opera House 活动概况: 约克华人最盛大的迎新活动，登场的节目包括京剧、杂技、武术、和舞狮等获奖节目，用传统的文化大戏辞旧迎新。 Chinese New Year Gala Time: 7.00pm, 30/01/09(Friday) Location: Grand Opera House, York Details: Programmes include Chinese dance, music, opera, kung fu performance etc. |
